Been going to McLeod for 10 months now and staff is friendly and caring. If you need help with other things while in treatment such as finding a doctor or free dental clinics they will provide you with information for that as well.

I have been here for 4 years using 4 of McCleods Facilities for my needs. They are a wonderful establishment that honestly helped me tremendously I no longer live my life around pain pills. I control my life now. Once a day I think about addiction when I have to take my Medication however... the other 23 hours a day are spent on WHATEVER I WANT TO DO. They are actually pretty spread across NC that makes it accessible if you’re traveling instead of being tied to one area for the rest of your life or however long you need the maintenance treatment. The thing I LOVE MOST IS; you set the pace for your recovery. If you come in those doors be ready to give up the addiction. Because the next 90 days may be a struggle but it’s a beginning to owning your own life!!! When your on pain meds the doctor controls you if they think for a second your addicted boom you’re cut off. They careless about the way it affects you or your life, MCCleod though, they help you work through your demons & when you can handle coming off the program they help you. Only one flaw ish to me is the councelors do seem like they leave a lot. They find better or closer jobs and usually leave. So I feel that I do explain how I got here over and over in 4 years I had; 8 different councelors that’s not including the ones who aren’t working when you come in! I hope this helps. I do like this place. I trust them with my sobriety! I recommend this place only if you’ve hit your rock bottom and are ready to climb the mountain to a addiction free life you CONTROL. The issue is only the councelors and that’s not something the business can help, they do hire decent employees everyone’s very helpful and seem like they really care about helping you. ❤️ I wish you all the best in your or someone you know’s JOURNEY TO SOBRIETY!!!

McLeod is an essential tool for anyone trying to recover from drugs, alcohol!! McLeod saves lives!! You’ve got to be ready to surrender and to truly be done and want to regain power over your disease! Many people mis-judge recovery centers. Everyone is in a different stage of their active addiction, recovery process!! Do some research on a McLeod Addictive Disease Center, for either reason .. whether you’re looking for help or if you’re a family member!!

Getting up and taking a shower, and being where ur suppose to be on time is also part of recovery. Its sad that so many people bc they r the ones that r late scores Mcleod so late. Eventually u have to take responsibility for ur self and accept the consequences if u don't dose for a day, it is ur fault. And if u r late and use in the street that is also ur choice. There r consequences to ur choices good or bad. We r adults. McLeod has saved my life and has let me have a future. I regret waiting as long as i have. My counselor is great.

It has helped me change my life dramatically, if your coming to do a intake I suggest coming very early or u will be here all day. It's annoying to go through intake I get it but a few hours of your life and you get your life back, it's no comparison between intake and active addiction.
